2019 CX-30: The New Concept Car from Mazda

Mazda well known for its innovative designs has released the 2019 CX-30, a crossover that is based on the structure of Mazda3 keeping in mind the needs of families. The 2019 edition of Mazda CX-30, is the second car in the row of Mazda’s “next-generation” model lineup. An experienced staff of our nearby Mazda car dealer said it has the potential to become one of the best-selling cars in the boundaries ofEurope.

Engine Capacities

As mentioned earlier, the concept of the Mazda CX-30 is based on the model Mazda3 because of which Mazda might have used the same engine options like the 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder SkyActiv, a 1.8-litre four-cylinder diesel and the same gearboxes. The 2019 Mazda CX-30 looks at lot similar to that of the Mazda 3 series both inside and out, but nevertheless better. Overall, if you get to see a 2019 Mazda CX-30, it is a good-looking vehicle, majorly better than most of its rivals in the class.

Both of the engines of the 2019 Mazda CX-30 are conventional ones that feel good to drive. The diesel engine is strategically paired with the six-speed automatic gearbox. But this is a combination which might not take effect in the UK market while the petrol engine with SkyActiv Spark control technology is given a six-speed manual transmission to shift its power to the front wheels as Mazda has configured front-wheel drive for both engine options as standard. But at the same time, Mazda has kept the all-wheel drive as an optionfor the users who are more interested in off-road drives.

Performance Feedback

Among all the engine options, we enjoyed the drive best with the one with Skyactiv-X, though the other two were good enough. We preferred the SkyActiv X might be because of the extra power, and torque.

Our test drive experiences with the 2019 Mazda CX-30 goes parallel with other customers we spoke at the same Mazda car dealership that says, the manual gearboxes used in the 2019 Mazda CX-30 is been the best fitted ones we have experienced so far in the mainstream cars. We have also driven the models that are fitted with the automatic version in which the torque-conversion was really appreciable. But the automatic transmission driven models will cost much more than the manual ones.

Road Manners and Handling

All the versions of the2019 Mazda CX-30 handled pretty well on all the road surfaces we drove through. It was something that was a routine experience for any Mazda car, so it come as no surprise for us. Given the body structure and the handling mechanisms it is enabled with, the 2019 Mazda CX-30 no wonder will be a good to drive car from every sense, in spite of the fact, that it is much heavier in comparison to other crossovers queuing up in its price segment. The response of brakes, steering, and cornering were almost intuitive and silky smooth, while the suspension soaked up almost every road imperfection delivering a consistently
