Improved Driving Tweaks
The other changes you see in its overall road manners is also caused by the weight lossin the most important engine components because of which the entire unit can now deliver a punchy performance. Above that, Mazda enabled the stop/start technology in combination with the brake regen which helped the 2020 MX-5 squeeze out more fuel economy that now reaches 50mpg from a combined trip of city and highway speeds as rated by the EPA.
